Q3FY26 Operational Update Shows Strength

Adani Energy Solutions Limited issued a strong provisional operational update for the third quarter of fiscal year 2026 on Monday, January 12. The company reported sustained high performance across its critical transmission and distribution networks, underscoring its operational resilience and financial recovery.

Robust Collection Metrics

Collection efficiency remained a standout metric, reaching 101.75% on a year-on-year basis. This indicates continued strength in Adani Energy Solutions' billing and recovery processes within its distribution operations. System availability across the network also stayed resilient, holding steady at 99.69% during the reporting period.

Transmission Expansion Continues

The transmission segment boasts an under-construction order book valued at ₹77,787 crore as of Q3FY26. During the quarter, Adani Energy Solutions commissioned the North Karanpura Transmission Line, making 299 circuit kilometres operational. Further project acquisitions expanded the overall network footprint, maintaining high availability near 100% from both operational and pipeline assets.

Distribution Shows Solid Growth

In Mumbai, Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited maintained exceptional supply reliability at 99.998%. Key reliability parameters like SAIDI and SAIFI improved. Distribution losses in the city continued to decline, with consumer complaints falling year-on-year, supported by efficiency gains. A total of 2,487 million units were sold in Mumbai.

The Mundra distribution business experienced significant growth, with units sold jumping 57% year-on-year to 371 million units in Q3FY26. This surge was primarily driven by robust industrial demand in the region.

Renewable Energy Partnership

Separately, an arm of Adani Green Energy signed an agreement on January 7, 2026, to supply 20.8 MW of solar-wind hybrid power from Khavda to Asahi India Glass. Asahi India Glass will acquire a 26% equity stake as a captive user under the new project agreements. This move diversifies Adani's energy offerings.
