The 'Shakti' system is powered by Ola Electric’s indigenously developed '4680 Bharat Cells.' Chairman and MD Bhavish Aggarwal emphasized the 'Made in India' aspect, highlighting the company's commitment to local research and development. This proprietary cell technology is central to the product's capabilities.
Product Features and Configurations
Ola Electric's spokesperson stated that 'Shakti' provides reliable, affordable, and intelligent energy storage for homes, farms, and businesses. Key features include automotive-grade safety, high efficiency, and zero running costs. The system boasts an instant 0 ms changeover, a wide input voltage range (200V–240V) to protect appliances, and is spill-proof with IP67-rated batteries tested for harsh conditions. It offers real-time visibility into battery status and learns usage patterns to optimize consumption. The system is available in four configurations: 1kW/1.5kWh, 1kW/3kWh, 3kW/5.2kWh, and 6kW/9.1kWh, capable of powering appliances like ACs, refrigerators, and farm pumps.
