GreenTech Raises ₹30 Cr for Global Wind Turbine O&M Expansion

Funding Fuels Global Ambitions

Coimbatore-based GreenTech, a specialized wind turbine operations and maintenance (O&M) company, has secured ₹30 crore in a funding round led by Transition Venture Capital. This capital infusion, announced January 13, 2026, is earmarked for significant infrastructure development, including a new turbine repair facility under construction in Coimbatore. A portion of the funds will also be allocated to building inventory for newer turbine models and facilitating market entry.

Competitive O&M Strategy

GreenTech currently manages approximately 500 MW of wind turbine capacity, with plans to add another 200 MW over the next 18 months, predominantly through international expansion across Southeast Asia, the MENA region, and Europe. The company offers a compelling alternative to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) led O&M services, claiming costs are typically 10-25% cheaper with flexible terms and transparent data sharing. Their focus remains solely on turbine operations, distinguishing them from OEMs with broader priorities.

Aggressive Growth Targets

The firm's service portfolio includes AI-driven predictive maintenance, major component replacement, and SCADA monitoring, alongside inventory and spare-parts management. The new Coimbatore facility will handle component repairs for electronics, electrical systems, and gearboxes. GreenTech reported revenues of approximately ₹30 crore, growing at 65-70% annually, and aims to exceed 100% year-on-year growth for the next five years.
