Anarock Enters Project Management Services
Mumbai-based property consultant Anarock Group announced its entry into the Project Management and Engineering Services (PMES) vertical on Monday. This strategic move aims to diversify the company's business and position it as a one-stop solution provider in the real estate sector. To support this expansion, Anarock has hired approximately 550 professionals.
Anuj Puri, Chairman of Anarock Group, stated that the company anticipates generating ₹125 crore in revenue from the PMES business by fiscal year 2026-27. The firm has already secured contracts estimated to yield consultancy fees of around ₹80 crore. Sources indicate that a significant portion of the new hires, including senior leadership, were recruited from a global property consulting firm.
The new PMES vertical is designed to meet the burgeoning demand for professional and technology-driven project delivery within India's rapidly expanding real estate market. Anarock reports that this division has already onboarded 42 active clients, underscoring the immediate market reception.
Market Opportunity and Offerings
Puri emphasized the launch was driven by client demand for Anarock's signature accountability and transparency, extending beyond sales to the construction phase. "By integrating best-in-class technology, rigorous processes, and senior talent, we are delivering the on-time, on-budget promise that modern real estate demands," he added.
The Indian Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) market is substantial, projected to grow from an estimated $69.28 billion in 2025 to $105.96 billion by 2030. Construction management services represent a significant 57% share of this EPCM revenue. The residential EPCM segment, in particular, is experiencing robust growth at an 11.56% Compound Annual Growth Rate, fueled by strong housing demand and government initiatives like PMAY and RERA.
Anarock's PMES vertical will offer a range of services including project and construction management, turnkey and design-build solutions, and project advisory for both base-build and fit-out projects. Established in April 2017, Anarock has previously raised funds to support its organic and inorganic growth across its core businesses, which include housing brokerage and leasing of commercial assets.
